A participatory performance that discusses the relation of gender to photography aesthetics and the different ways of seeing.
It interacts with family photos as a theatrical space of gender and kinship performances.
Through one-on-one intimate performances with around 17 different artists, anthropologists,
and cultural workers in different spaces in Cairo, such as parks, rooftops, and my studio,
we collectively explored photographs as (in)animate objects, while experimenting with how space influences this collective exploration.
